Hey There 👋 We're Ally & Zach ..., a fun-loving duo from Wisconsin with that unmistakable Midwest charm and a work ethic to match.
Our lives are as dynamic as our pet-sitting style. With flexible remote jobs, we have the unique freedom to stay in our client's homes and provide personalized, loving care for their pets. Think of us as your pet's new favorite houseguests.
We’re avid travelers, outdoor enthusiasts, and proud dog lovers. Ally grew up with two Australian Shepherds, and learned a thing or two from her aunt who is a vet, and basically loves anything with fur.
Zach, on the other hand, had the joy of growing up with a yellow Lab and a Labradoodle—so he’s a pro at belly rubs and fetch.
Our only regret? Our apartment doesn’t allow dogs, or we’d probably have 25 by now.
That’s why caring for your pets feels like the next best thing to having our own pack!

Our Easy Process
Working with us starts in 3 easy steps
Before we officially get started, we’ll set up a meet and greet to ensure everyone is comfortable—both you and your pet! Here’s what to expect during this step:
- Getting to Know Your Pet: We’ll spend time interacting with your furry friend to understand their personality, habits, and preferences. This helps us tailor our care to meet their unique needs.
- Learning the Routine: You’ll walk us through their daily schedule, including feeding times, walking routes, favorite toys, and any special care instructions.
- Addressing Concerns: This is the perfect time for you to ask questions, share any concerns, and ensure we’re the right fit for your family.
- Building Trust: Meeting in person helps your pet feel at ease and gives you peace of mind knowing who will be caring for them.
- Home Walkthrough: If needed, we’ll review your home setup, such as where supplies are kept, key instructions, and emergency contacts.
This step sets the foundation for a smooth and stress-free experience for everyone involved! 🐾
Once we’ve completed the meet and greet and everyone feels comfortable, it’s time to lock in your pet’s personalized care plan! Here’s what happens next:
- Tailored Care Plan: We confirm all the details discussed during the meet and greet, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, special needs, and any additional instructions.
- Schedule Confirmation: We finalize the dates and times, ensuring everything aligns with your travel plans.
- Seamless Booking: A quick and easy booking process ensures your pet’s care is secured and stress-free.
- Communication Plan: We’ll set up how and when you’d like updates while you’re away, whether it’s texts, photos, or videos of your happy pet.
Once everything is confirmed, all you have to do is pack your bags and relax—your pet’s care is in loving hands! 🐾
The final step is where we take care of everything, so you can leave stress-free, knowing your pet is in loving hands. Here’s what happens:
- Arrival: Once you’re off on your trip, we’ll arrive at the scheduled time to begin care.
- Routine Maintenance: We stick to the routine you’ve outlined, ensuring your pet feels comfortable and secure. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, administering medications (if needed), and plenty of cuddles!
- Regular Updates: You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and videos to see how happy and relaxed your pet is while you’re away.
- House Sitting (if requested): We’ll also help keep your home secure by bringing in mail, watering plants, and maintaining a “lived-in” appearance.
- Focus on Comfort and Safety: Your pet’s well-being is our top priority, so we ensure they’re always safe, happy, and loved.
When you return, you’ll find a happy pet and a home just as you left it. 🏡🐾
Friendly Paws Petcare
Our journey into professional pet care started when our Rover profile connected us with a retired couple who had turned their home into a doggy daycare. Their place was a paradise for pets, with anywhere from 10 to 17 dogs and 6 cats at any given time.
It was busy, but to us, it felt like heaven on Earth.We helped out on a few nights and weekends, jumping into the chaos of feeding, walking, playing, and cuddling all those pets. It was hard work, but we loved every second of it. Spending time with the animals and working together as a team made us realize how much we enjoyed this kind of care.
The pets became like family to us, and we built strong bonds with them. That’s when the lightbulb went off: “Why don’t we do this ourselves?” We took everything we learned from that experience—the love, the dedication, and the hands-on care—and turned it into our own in-home pet-sitting service. And just like that, A to Z Pet Care was born.
Our goal is to make sure your pets feel happy, safe, and loved, right in the comfort of their own home. You get to vacation worry free and we get our pet fix in :)

Our prices range from $100 dollars a night to $150 a night based on our client's needs and work involved.
We are based in La Crosse, WI but Since we’re a traveling pet care service, we cover a wide area. Contact us to confirm if we can serve your location.
Have your pet’s schedule, feeding instructions, favorite toys, and any special care needs ready. We’ll handle the rest!
After the meet and greet, we’ll confirm the details and send you a final confirmation.
We ask for at least 7 days notice for cancellations to allow us to adjust our schedule if applicable or ASAP so we can book a new client in our calendar :)
We’ll immediately contact you and your designated emergency contact. If needed, we’ll take your pet to their vet or the nearest emergency clinic.
Additionally, Ally's aunt is a certified Veterinarian and we have relationships with other pet care providers in the area.
We require a two-night minimum to ensure we can provide the best care and attention for your pets. A longer stay allows us to build a consistent routine, help your pets feel more comfortable, and give them the love and attention they deserve. Additionally, it ensures our availability is used efficiently, allowing us to dedicate our time to providing top-quality service to every family we work with. This policy helps us maintain a high standard of care and reliability for all our clients.

Yes, if you feel more comfortable booking through the Rover app we will accept bookings through the app. However, we prefer booking directly through us due to the high fees Rover charges you.
